and the required dimmensions for having a user image... ruins the quality
it was a png, but i found out you needed a jpg or gif

i hate the .jpg format

You can just download the Photoshop trial and convert the png to jpg on that, there's almost no loss in quality, and it lowers the filesize (alot)
